Vintage Allen & Heath System 8 - 1282 MK-I

. Beautiful analogue mixing console with 12 channels, 8 buses, 3 aux sends and 2 outputs (plus many more features) . Ideal for professional audio applications. Fully working, with a few age related issues such as crackly pots (twiddling the knobs a few times resolves this).

Aesthetically in decent condition, but it does have age related scuffs all over the place, rust here and there and flaky paint on the meter bridge and wrist rest (it's a vibe!) A few of the meter bulbs are gone too, but the main thing is that everything works as intended and it sounds ridiculously good. 

Shame to have to let this go, I've used it to produce multiple rock and roll records over the last decade or so, I used it as a front end in my studio, time and time again this console has delivered results that can't be achieved in the box. I am downsizing though and in the box takes up way less space!

 This rare (getting rarer) piece of glorious, pro level studio equipment, from a time when making records was genuinely about sonic character and "mojo", will breath life into soulless mixes! And it's only going to go up in value!
